The strong partner in recycling
Each and every day, RGS Nordic has to process enormous amounts of municipal, industrial and mixed construction waste, including bulk, green and timber waste, for subsequent recycling processes or thermal recovery. In order to be able to handle the varying materials efficiently and flexibly, the company relies on robust Lindner Urracos shredders. Why? “Because they can be operated flexibly without major retooling downtime, even tough materials are handled without disruption and they will also cope with the occasional foreign body without major damage,” says Managing Director of RGS Nordic, Jan Glerup. That is a significant plus during peak times.
Varied waste recycling
The downstream paths for recycling are just as varied as the materials handled. The fractions shredded and reduced in volume are fed, according to their properties, into downstream recycling processes, or composted or used as an energy source, for example, to supply the Danish metropolis of Copenhagen with heat and electricity.
