Alliance for green hydrogen industry

The cooperation combines HydrogenPro’s expertise in high-pressure alkaline electrolyzer (AEL) technology with ANDRITZ‘s competence in manufacturing and assembly. This non-exclusive partnership will enable ANDRITZ to include HydrogenPro’s technology in its EPC offering of green hydrogen solutions. HydrogenPro, as a fast-growing global company, will thus be able to provide its range of green hydrogen technologies to the European market more quickly.

Sami Pelkonen, Executive Vice President Green Hydrogen, ANDRITZ GROUP, states: “ANDRITZ aims to become a leading global supplier of complete plants and solutions for the production of green hydrogen based on various electrolysis technologies. We are looking forward to working with HydrogenPro. Together we can help increase electrolysis capacity to support the development of the green hydrogen economy in Europe. Our expertise in plant engineering and turnkey projects will help us successfully implement complete projects for our customers.”

Tarjei Johansen, CEO of HydrogenPro, adds: “This strategic partnership unlocks significant potential by combining our breakthrough electrolyzer design and expertise in the underlying technologies with ANDRITZ’s operational competence and experience as an EPC supplier. HydrogenPro has set a target of providing more than 5 GW of electrolysis capacity within five years. This partnership is also an important step for us to achieve this goal. We look forward to building on our cooperation with ANDRITZ.”.
