Organized by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the Directorate-General for Energy, the European Sustainable Energy Week – EUSEW – in Brussels is the international hotspot for entrepreneurs, visionaries and stakeholders. With seven plenary sessions, more than 60 policy meetings, more than 30 stands at the Energy Fair and the fifth edition of the European Youth Energy Day, EUSEW 2024 aimed to be at the forefront of the energy transition debate. Organized by the European Commission and energy sector stakeholders, the sessions addressed sustainable energy issues and new policy developments, best practices and ideas for sustainable energy.
4 out of 10 pitches for a green future came from Green Tech Valley
At the EUSEW 2024 European Sustainable Energy Week, ten startups were selected to pitch their renewable energy solution under the title “Yes we can”. And 4 out of 10 solutions come from Green Tech Valley: Towern3000 (Thomas Ramschak, Thomas Buchsteiner), Allesdach (Johannes Wagner), Aerodymax (Clemens-Michael Smola) and Sonnenschmiede (Thomas Auer).
Sonja Angloher-Reichholt (Bayern Innovativ) and Michael Kerschbaumer (SFG; EEN Enterprise Europe Network Austria) discussed together with Sandra Viczek (HOLCIM) and Green Tech Valley CEO Bernhard Puttinger how European technologies can combine climate protection and growth.
