Many things can be measured. However, the quality and plausibility of the measurement data are crucial. LEC MCheck continuously analyzes the values measured on the test stand and immediately reports indications of possible incorrect measurements. Test rig operators can intervene at an early stage and in a targeted manner, since LEC MCheck already provides information about the sources of errors. Time-consuming manual troubleshooting is no longer necessary. LEC MCheck can be used on a wide variety of engine test benches with changing boundary conditions.
In practice, this means: Precise indication of the cause of the fault instead of “only” a red warning light: LEC MCheck offers a completely new possibility for early fault diagnosis on test benches of all kinds. The risk of cost-intensive forced breaks on the test bench is thus significantly reduced. And the measurement quality also increases. So how can this unique software be used in practice?
The tests on the test bench are a significant cost factor in engine development. It is therefore all the more important that the measurements are carried out efficiently. According to studies, faults that are detected too late lead to additional measurement effort of up to 40 percent. It also makes a big difference whether a fault is merely detected or whether the software explains precisely where the fault should be located. LEC MCheck can do exactly the latter.
Fault diagnosis through industry understanding and software expertise. The intelligent fault diagnosis software analyzes where the fault could come from. This is based on physical and data-based models, combined with expert knowledge that is integrated into the system by means of a library. The possibilities of digitalization are thus combined with the LEC team’s many years of experience and understanding of the industry – the result is highly innovative software that represents a completely new solution for fault diagnosis. Measurement quality is improved and valuable test bench time is saved.
