Instead of using precious electricity, we drive our refrigeration machines with hot water. We use waste heat, e.g. from CHP units or production processes, solar heat or district heating. Cooling from heat is therefore energetically sensible and in many cases economically feasible.
The applications are manifold:
We can offer an optimally matched cooling system for many tasks in commercial, industrial and private environments. We support our customers with our know-how throughout the entire planning process.
Technology:
In our cooling systems, we use exhaust and adsorption refrigeration systems that work with environmentally friendly refrigerants (water or ammonia). When these refrigerants evaporate in the machine, energy is extracted from the cold water circuit – and thus cold is “generated”. Depending on the application, our systems supply cold water or cooling brine in the temperature range from -10 to +20°C. The refrigerating machines are driven by hot water at a temperature level of
55 to 110°C.
Benefit from our experience from the in-house development and production of our
water / ammonia absorption chiller PinkChiller. This provides a nominal cooling capacity of around 20kW per module.
System solutions:
Only a complete thermally driven cooling system with optimally matched components can meet the high demands in terms of energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
and economy. We offer corresponding system solutions and support the entire planning process in terms of optimised hydraulic and control integration.
Our focus is on the realisation of thermally driven cooling systems in the performance range up to approx. 100kW cooling capacity. We can realise larger capacities in cooperation with our partner companies.
Possible heat sources for the operation of cooling systems are:
– Thermal solar systems: use the solar surplus in summer for cooling
– District heating: CO2-neutral by extracting the heat from electricity generation
– Combined heat and power plants: The combined generation of electricity and heat is supplemented by the provision of cooling
– Process waste heat: Convert waste heat into valuable cooling energy
– Biomass: Use of renewable raw materials for cold generation
Energy storage tanks or buffer storage tanks have become an indispensable part of many modern heating systems.
There are many reasons for this – and our range of storage solutions is just as diverse. You will find a huge range of variants for individual, project-specific storage tanks from our own production.
Stratified loader: The solar energy storage system from PINK – with patented SOLVIS stratified loading unit
The unique stratified loader in the PINK solar energy storage tank directs the solar heat to the stratum with the same temperature in each case.
Your advantages at a glance:
– highly efficient stratification, integrated non-return flaps
– Higher solar coverage
– no electronics – maintenance-free
– can be combined with all heating systems
– concentrated connection area – low installation costs and minimised heat loss
– individual adaptation to local conditions and cellar welding possible!
