EcoHash – Platform for Utilizing Surplus Electricity EcoHash is a compact, modular platform designed for the local utilization of surplus electricity from renewable sources. It was developed to create economically viable applications for excess energy – especially when feeding it into the grid is not possible or only yields very low compensation. At the core of EcoHash is the intelligent combination of a computing unit, heat exchanger, and control system. Surplus electricity is used to provide computing power – specifically, this computing power is contributed to the Bitcoin network, generating direct economic value. The resulting waste heat is captured by an integrated heat exchanger and made available for use, for example for space heating, hot water, or integration into existing heating systems. Thanks to our proprietary and patented control software HashLink, the system is continuously monitored and optimized.
