HASHLYNK

HASHLYNK develops innovative solutions for utilizing surplus electricity from renewable sources. Our focus lies at the intersection of IT and electrical mechanical engineering – for a sustainable and efficient future.
HASHLYNK – Intelligent Solutions for Utilizing Surplus Electricity HASHLYNK is a mechanical engineering company based in Möllbrücke, Austria, specializing in the development and implementation of innovative solutions for the local utilization of surplus electricity from renewable energy sources. Our goal is to significantly increase the economic value of electricity that would otherwise go unused or be fed into the grid at low prices. At the core of our work is the intelligent integration of information technology and electrical mechanical engineering – two fields that are inseparably linked in our vision of a sustainable future. Our systems combine digital control and analysis with physical energy conversion and utilization, creating entirely new fields of application. The Problem: Surplus Electricity Remains Unused As renewable energy expands, so does the volume of electricity that cannot be fed into the grid at certain times – for example, during periods of high solar or wind production. This unused electricity represents an enormous economic potential that has so far remained largely untapped. Our Solution: Local Utilization Through Intelligent Systems HASHLYNK develops modular systems that locally utilize this surplus electricity by converting it into value-generating processes – particularly computing power and usable heat. At the heart of this is our proprietary control software “HashLink,” which intelligently analyzes, prioritizes, and optimizes energy flows. This is based on a patented process developed by HASHLYNK that makes the utilization of surplus electricity economically viable. One example is our product EcoHash: a combination of high-efficiency computing unit, heat exchanger, and intelligent control. Surplus electricity is used to provide computing power for the Bitcoin network, while the resulting waste heat is made available locally as thermal energy. Through this process, surplus electricity can be monetized at an average rate of €0.20/kWh, and the recovered heat can be used for heating or similar applications. Technology-Agnostic, Modular, and Economically Viable Our systems are technology-agnostic: they can be combined with PV, wind, or hydropower systems, as well as with battery storage or existing heating systems. Thanks to their modular design, different power levels (e.g., 10–60+ kW) can be covered and tailored to specific needs. This makes our solutions ideal for companies, energy communities, agricultural businesses, and public institutions seeking to increase self-consumption, reduce heating costs, and unlock new business models. Interdisciplinary Expertise HASHLYNK combines expertise in electrical mechanical engineering, software development, and energy economics. We collaborate closely with partners from research, industry, and the public sector to continuously improve our solutions and adapt them to evolving conditions. Our Vision We believe in a decentralized, sustainable, and economically attractive energy landscape where electricity is not only produced, but also used intelligently. With its products and ideas, HASHLYNK is helping to make this vision a reality – local, modular, smart.

EcoHash - Thinking energy utilisation further
The EcoHash is a compact platform that converts surplus electricity into computing power and usable heat. It enables the economical use of renewable energy on site – efficient, modular, and versatile.
EcoHash – Platform for Utilizing Surplus Electricity EcoHash is a compact, modular platform designed for the local utilization of surplus electricity from renewable sources. It was developed to create economically viable applications for excess energy – especially when feeding it into the grid is not possible or only yields very low compensation. At the core of EcoHash is the intelligent combination of a computing unit, heat exchanger, and control system. Surplus electricity is used to provide computing power – specifically, this computing power is contributed to the Bitcoin network, generating direct economic value. The resulting waste heat is captured by an integrated heat exchanger and made available for use, for example for space heating, hot water, or integration into existing heating systems. Thanks to our proprietary and patented control software HashLink, the system is continuously monitored and optimized. It automatically detects periods of surplus power, prioritizes energy flows, and maximizes economic efficiency. EcoHash can be flexibly integrated into existing energy or building technology systems. Key features at a glance: - Utilizes surplus electricity with attractive monetization (avg. €0.20/kWh) - Dual use: computing power and heat generation - Modular design: performance classes from 10 to 60+ kW - Integrated control with real-time optimization - Technology-agnostic: compatible with PV, wind, and hydro power - Easy integration into existing heating or energy systems - Locally applicable for businesses, agriculture, municipalities, or energy communities EcoHash enables operators of renewable energy systems to get more out of their energy – instead of letting electricity go to waste, it is converted on-site into economic value. In doing so, EcoHash contributes to greater efficiency, decarbonization, and the strengthening of decentralized infrastructure. Whether as an addition to existing heating systems, as an economic building block in energy management, or as a foundation for new business models – EcoHash opens up new possibilities for energy utilization in the spirit of a smart and sustainable future.
