As GRÜNSTATTGRAU Forschungs- und Innovations-GmbH, we are Austria’s coordination and competence center for building greening. We also serve as an innovation lab, conducting research, analysis, evaluation, communication, and training in all areas of building greening to drive the planning and implementation of green roofs and walls. Our network consists of over 380 partners from business, science, and public administration, making it the largest network for the green industry in Austria. It enables transformation through climate change adaptation with innovative concepts, technologies, and solutions. Our sponsor and owner is the non-profit Austrian Association for Building Greening (VfB), established in 1991, which unites all companies and institutions involved in greening buildings.
