The refurbishment market is booming - in Germany alone, 55 per cent of the population bought refurbished products last year. There are many reasons why many companies are now increasingly focussing on refurbishment. It opens up an additional sales channel, it follows the trends of large companies, it reduces waste volumes and it is an important step towards being prepared for future EU regulations. Unfortunately, entering the re-use business comes with certain hurdles and many companies do not have the resources or time to establish their own processes for implementation.
