A software tool for the implementation of the synergetic energy concept was created for the holistic energy assessment of an entire region, which generates the greatest possible supply and use benefits for all energy users, such as private and public households, energy-intensive businesses, as well as agriculture and forestry in the region. With the software tool, highly efficient, synergetic models for rural and urban regions can be developed in the future, taking into account the environmental interactions, enabling the conception of a demand-oriented and efficient energy supply and use for areas under consideration with varying system boundaries.
