The success story of PV-Invest begins in 2009 with the project start for the first Italian photovoltaic power plants within the company’s asset base. Shortly thereafter, the move to Slovenia was made. These two regions are still among the core markets of PV-Invest today. In the following years power plants were built in Bulgaria and France. At the same time, the Austrian division was created under the “Unser Kraftwerk” brand and became the third largest market in the portfolio. In 2020 the sister company officially became part of the PV-Invest Group. In 2015, the northernmost power plant location in the portfolio of PV-Invest was put into operation between Nuremberg and Munich. The steadily growing portfolio now includes 87 photovoltaic and four small hydropower plants with a total output of 59.0 MW. There are also many new projects in the existing markets that are under development. PV-Invest has been issuing corporate bonds on a regular basis since 2016 and is steadily expanding the portfolio on this basis. In recent years, the market entries in Macedonia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece have been successfully implemented. 2021, the Liechtenstein Group, acquired a stake in PV-Invest, thereby laying a foundation for further expansion of the company. The investment was made via Liechtenstein Invest GmbH ("LB"). PV-Invest uses extensive know-how in the construction, financing and operation of its power plants. This ensures a careful project selection with a focus on avoiding risks with good earnings opportunities. Every new power plant is subjected to extensive technical and economic testing. The principle is “quality before quantity”. Every expansion of the portfolio and every market entry contribute to further diversification and thus ensure a balanced portfolio mix. Full transparency and the projects that have already been successfully implemented create the basis for trusting cooperation with private and institutional investors and banks. The company has justified this trust for many years by investing in economically viable power plant projects and the seamless and punctual fulfilment of the promised returns and obligations.
