Hy2Market international knowledge exchange round

The 5th Hy2Market international  knowledge exchange round on “Digital transformation in hydrogen economy” will address two highly topical areas: digitalization and hydrogen. Digitalization acts as a critical enabler of the energy and industrial transition by providing real-time data, intelligent system integration and optimized process control – from renewable electricity generation and electrolysis to hydrogen infrastructure and industrial applications. Hydrogen, as an energy carrier and raw material, is intended to defossilize energy-intensive industries in particular and make Europe less dependent on fossil fuels in the future. Thus, digitalization and  hydrogen both represent powerful drivers of the energy and industrial transition, and our knowledge and experience exchange will address these topics from various perspectives and with the input of diverse stakeholders.

The hydrogen economy is highly complex – from production and transport to utilization. This presents opportunities for collaboration and synergies with digitalization, which could be explored and discussed: E.g. the role of digital solutions and data-based approaches along the hydrogen value chain, current developments and challenges of digitalization in the hydrogen sector or practical experiences or application examples from the project.

Digitalization has the potential to act as a significant catalyst and useful enabler for hydrogen economy, helping, among other things: cost reduction, safety increase, market and data transparency, infrastructure optimization, RES (renewable energy sources) integration.

With the digital transformation in hydrogen economy knowledge exchange, we are creating a platform for the open and practical exchange of experiences on the topics mentioned above, as well as on all other aspects of interest to participants. We are particularly pleased to announce Mr. David Schwarz, Managing Director at H2 Digital GmbH as well as Mr. Martin Bosque Morán from Signal Software S.L. as keynote speakers for this event.
