SYRION is a startup/non-profit organisation for the scientific and research-related development, improvement and implementation of new insights and new sustainable technologies in the field of technical and human-centred systems as well as associated business and operating models and the training of corresponding human capital. A major focus of SYRION is on mobility (road, rail, aviation) with vehicle and infrastructure technologies as well as communication / connectivity, smart production, circular economy and new business models. SYRION takes over the conception, proposal coordination and preparation as well as the management of R&D projects, but is also active as a partner in the implementation of the content (requirements specification, monitoring, dissemination & exploitation, novel business models, cost-benefit analyses / total cost analyses; social science and humanities (SSH) aspects of technical systems). Furthermore, SYRION supports its partners in strategic R&D issues and is also active in training and university teaching. SYRION builds on an outstanding experience of its staff in leading positions and a variety of large-scale projects in industry, university and non-university R&D, but also in the public sector.
