Issues Related to Trade And Energy Efficiency
The United States Energy Association invites you to attend the World Energy Council’s North American Energy Forum, which will bring together private sector and government organizations from Canada, Mexico and the United States to discuss the development of efforts to facilitate greater energy trade, their associated investment requirements and legal, regulatory, administrative and financial impediments to their development. An outcome of the forum will be a set of stakeholder recommendations, which may be considered by the SPP Energy Working Group. These recommendations will also be included in the North American contribution to the 2007 World Energy Congress in Rome.
Some topics for discussion:
– Security & Prosperity Partnership being conducted under the auspices of the three Heads of State
– Issues related to energy trade, energy efficiency and energy diversity.
