This workshop represents a regular event of the IEA Bioenergy Task 29.. It provides an opportunity for specialists and non-specialists alike to learn and participate in an action focused on understanding the complex social and economic interactions of bioenergy and community.

In particular it offers an opportunity to:
– Compare and contrast different approaches taken to local, regional and cross-boundary partnership in partner countries
– Learn from Best Practice (including invited papers)
– Hear reports from completed, ongoing and planned projects
– Visit targeted projects and community actions during a study tour

The workshop will take place from 14th – 16th May 2007 in Bregenz/Austria. The workshop will be held in English.
