The Scientific Committee of the 19th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition have reviewed more than 1300 abstracts which were submitted to the conference for consideration. A thorough and extensive review procedure was performed involving each abstract being independently reviewed by 4 recognised experts. The expert reviewers considered for each abstract:
Its relevance and content for other groups active in photovoltaics
Its advancement and innovation in terms of progress and novelty
Its overall quality Following the conclusions of this review the scientific committee has accepted, 40 Plenary presentations, 216 Oral presentations and 904 Visual poster presentations.

The extremely high quality of the abstracts presented has resulted in the fact that the 19th EU-PVSEC will become the largest scientific conference in the field of Photovoltaic Solar Energy. During the 19th EUPVSEC the world’s leading PV Solar specialists will provide insight into developments in PV Solar energy research & development, technological progress, applications, legislative and fiscal activity, application and finance. Covering the complete spectrum of Photovoltaic activities.
The Conference will be accompanied by workshops on specific PV Solar topics, by a PV Industry Platform, and a „French Day“ focusing on Solar Energy and Architecture in the built environment.
