In Brazil, eucalyptus waste will be processed into green electricity. Thanks to innovative solutions from the heart of Austria. These come from ANDRITZ AG in Graz and are part of the first Brazilian thermoelectric power plant to process tree residues that are not used for pulp production. Innovations made to implement the power generation system from renewables include, for example, the truck unloading stations designed to receive wood chips to feed the plant.
The receiving system consists of two unloading stations connected to the respective collection bins. A belt conveyor receives the material from the collection bins and transports it to the wood chip storage area. A wood chip storage and discharge system with a capacity of up to 40,000 m\u00b3 has the necessary functions to feed a second belt conveyor, which is responsible for feeding the material to the biomass boiler.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Every day, the thermal power plant is able process 1,500 tons of material that previously remained unused in the forest. In this way, an entire city can be supplied with sustainable energy. The remaining electricity is fed into the Brazilian grid.
