As a climate-friendly alternative to fossil-derived diesel, biodiesel is considered one of the green fuels of the future. It is produced from sustainable and regionally available raw materials, or from commercial and industrial residues and waste products, for particularly effective use of resources. In the latter case, this is enabled due to innovative technology solutions from the biodiesel industrial plant manufacturer BDI. The company specializes in extracting non-toxic, biodegradable fuel from waste oil and high-risk fats. These waste materials are processed into clean energy. BDI will now retrofit two production plants for the American biodiesel manufacturer, Renewable Energy Group, that will allow them to process inexpensive waste materials into high-quality biodiesel.<\/p>

As Markus Dielacher, Managing Director of BDI, comments: \u201cThrough our innovative RetroFit program, we are upgrading the two biodiesel plants to a completely new level, both in terms of technology and costs. The result is unparalleled flexibility in the use of raw materials, maximum system availability and a quantifiably valuable contribution to the circular economy and CO2 reduction\u201d<\/em>.
