The contribution to the project pipeline from these plants is a total capacity of 900 MW which will come online by mid-2022.<\/p><p>Despite the lower solar potential in Poland compared to Southern Europe, falling costs and growing capacity make the Polish market attractive for photovoltaic projects:<\/p><p>As Gerhard Matzinger, CEO of RP Global, explains: \u201cIn opening up to low-cost, environmentally friendly technologies that offer a very competitive LCOE, the Polish government is creating an attractive market, even if Poland might not be the first country you think of as an attractive location for incident solar radiation\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renewables have steadily gained in importance in Poland in recent years.
