Additionally, ANDRITZ will provide comprehensive service and supply spare and wear parts throughout the operating lifetime of the equipment and plant.<\/p>\n<p>Till Bu\u00dfmann, CTO of Duesenfeld, says:&nbsp;<em>\u201cThis partnership marks a major step forward in the circular economy, combining advanced expertise, innovative technology, and long-standing experience in plant engineering to provide comprehensive solutions for our customers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration positions ANDRITZ and Duesenfeld as the ideal partners for the mechanical pre-treatment of lithium-ion batteries, especially in the production of black mass. The partnership aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of battery recycling processes, contributing to a circular economy.<\/p>\n<p>As a first reference project, the Duesenfeld pilot plant in Wendeburg will be upgraded with ANDRITZ equipment, including state-of-the-art shredders and dryers.
