Burgenland, for example, is a pioneer in the field of renewable power generation. With around 50 companies and research institutions in energy and environmental technology, Green Tech Valley is now growing in size with Burgenland.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Synergies for green innovations<\/span><\/span><\/p><p>Over the next two years, the province of Burgenland and the Burgenland Business Agency will contribute to the cluster in terms of organization, content and funding. The aim is to support Burgenland companies on their path to growth with green innovations through cooperation and projects. Joint growth opportunities<\/p><p>include green hydrogen, batteries, green electricity and heat, the transformation to a climate-neutral industry and the circular economy.<\/p><p>This unique ecosystem, which already spans Styria and Carinthia, will be strengthened even further with this green innovation axis.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Benefits for the companies<\/span><\/span><\/p><p>As a first step, Burgenland\u2019s leading companies and innovators in this field will formulate joint strategies at the kick-off event on June 19.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">The companies are involved in technology workshops (e.g. Green IoT), working groups (e.g. climate pioneers, battery recycling) and exchange formats (e.g. CEO Circle, Innovators Club).<\/span><\/p><p>Students from Burgenland can found their start-up with financial support as part of the Green Tech Summer from July to September.<\/p><p>And at the Green Tech Valley cluster reception on July 8, the focus will be on networking and initiating innovation projects.<\/p><p>The new Burgenland funding map provides easy access to all regional and international funding for Burgenland companies and their green transformation.<\/p><div><span style=\"font-weight: bolder; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size );\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Statements<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size );\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Leonhard Schneemann, Burgenland Economic Councillor:<\/span>\u00a0<em>\u201cNumerous<\/em>\u00a0companies\u00a0<em>and researchers in Burgenland are working on climate -relevant\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>technologies and services \u2013 and the green tech start-up scene is also growing.\u00a0<\/em><em>Activities in the areas of green hydrogen, battery storage, energy transition\u00a0<\/em><em>and the circular economy underline the sustainable ambitions.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, Styrian Minister of Economic Affairs:<\/span><em>\u00a0\u201cThe integration of\u00a0<\/em><em>Burgendland into the Green Tech Valley Cluster is a further milestone in the\u00a0<\/em><em>cooperation in the economic region of southern Austria.<\/em>\u00a0<em>We are thus further pooling our\u00a0<\/em><em>forces, expand our position as a flagship region for green technologies and\u00a0<\/em><em>increase the international visibility of this very special ecosystem.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Bernhard Puttinger, Managing Director of Green Tech Valley Cluster:<\/span>\u00a0<em>\u201cWith Burgenland<\/em>, this\u00a0<em>this green tech axis, which is unique in Austria, to common\u00a0<\/em><em>future opportunities massively strengthened.\u201d<\/em><\/p><div><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the south and east of Austria, technologies for a sustainable future are being created at a disproportionately high rate.
