Wayne Russell, Executive General Manager Recycling at Visy, confirms: &#8220;By building our new glass recycling facility with REDWAVE&#8217;s leading optical sorting machines, we have doubled the amount of glass we recycle,&#8221; explained Mr. Russell.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The plant, with an impressive processing capacity of 200,000 tons of waste glass per year, can process both mixed recycled glass and glass from the newly established Victorian container deposit system. State-of-the-art sensor-based sorting technology ensures precise sorting by color and size to recover high quality products for glass production.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Working with REDWAVE guarantees us access to state-of-the-art equipment and a renowned technology partner,&#8221; continued Russell.
