Beim Recycling dieser R\u00fcckst\u00e4nde mit dem hochmodernen W\u00e4lzprozess wird nur Zink wiedergewonnen, sodass andere wertvolle Metalle, insbesondere Eisen, verloren gehen. Auch der erhebliche CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck ist ein Umweltproblem. Daher wird im EU-finanzierten Projekt Dust2Value eine innovative Wasserstoffreduktionstechnologie vorgestellt, mit der s\u00e4mtliches Zink effizient wiedergewonnen und gleichzeitig ein eisenhaltiges Material mit hohem Metallgehalt geschaffen wird, das als Ersatz f\u00fcr Schrott verwendet werden kann. Mit dem Verfahren wird das Kreislaufprinzip bei der Stahlerzeugung gest\u00e4rkt.
