Styrian innovation at IFAT exhibition

15. May 2018

As always, we are one step ahead - with innovations made in Styria on show at IFAT in Munich, the world's leading exhibition for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management. In order to support company networking on an international level at IFAT, the Green Tech Cluster invited top decision makers and key customers from the International Cleantech Network (Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, etc.) to the Austrian Innovation Reception, as part of the joint event with AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA and the Upper Austrian, Cleantech Cluster OÖ. Included among the Styrian Green Tech companies presenting their latest innovations were ANDRITZ, ATM Recycling Systems, Bauer, Binder + Co, Komptech, Lindner-Recyclingtech and REDWAVE.

With over 3,000 exhibitors and 136,000 visitors, IFAT is particularly relevant for Styrian companies, as it opens doors to global players. The leading international exhibition for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management offers excellent opportunities to present new products and services. For this reason, the Green Tech Cluster organised a Fact Finding Mission with Styrian Green Tech companies together with the Internationalization Center Styria.

The Austrian Innovation Reception was held on the joint stand of AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, and was focused on increasing international visibility of Styrian innovations as well as exchanging latest ideas and initiating collaboration with international partners. International participants were welcomed to this exclusive event with the objective of initiating international collaboration with innovative companies from Styria.

Joint exhibitor visits were organised to help facilitate collaboration opportunities for Styrian companies and make it easier to cooperate in the field of energy and environmental technology. In addition, a tour was organised by the Enterprise European Network through the joint Bayern Innovativ stand.

Many thanks go to the Internationalization Center Styria and the Enterprise European Network for their joint efforts.
