EVK DI KERSCHHAGGL GMBH

EVK, an expert company in industrial imaging, offers sensor-based solutions for bulk sorting and monitoring in the food, recycling, and mining industry.
EVK´s core competence is the classification and analysis of data using hyperspectral and inductive imaging technologies. EVK combines sensor technology and data analysis into application-specific solutions, and in this way provides valuable real-time data about the manufacturing process. EVK´s complete solutions range from data acquisition to data analysis to decision making. These solutions help customers in the industry to optimise their manufacturing processes, increase sorting depth and product quality, improve resource utilization and thus increase their profitability. Hyperspectral imaging can classify objects and parts of them based on their chemical composition, which is not affected by the colour of the materials. This non-contact and non-destructive method can quantitatively measure chemical properties, such as dry matter, protein, sugar, calorific value, moisture, etc. The combination of sensor technology and data analysis enables our customers to develop completely new solutions, processes and products. Technical support from EVKs Professional Service Team, starting with the concept idea through to commissioning and after-sales support, complete the portfolio of EVK as a total solution provider.

EVK DI KERSCHHAGGL GMBH

EVK ABAS TL is an inductive metal scanner for use in sensor-based sorting machines for detection and sorting of metals. The sensor can be mounted under a conveyer belt and delivers spatially resolved information of conductive material

EVK DI KERSCHHAGGL GMBH

The smart camera EVK HELIOS can spatially resolve and represent chemical data in real-time. The advantage of a Hyperspectral Imaging system is that the chemical sensitivity can be tailored by choosing the spectral range to suit a given application.

Hyperspectral Imaging Camera with integrated Classification System
The smart camera EVK HELIOS can spatially resolve and represent chemical data in real-time. The advantage of a Hyperspectral Imaging system is that the chemical sensitivity can be tailored by choosing the spectral range to suit a given application.

The EVK HELIOS hyperspectral imaging systems are powerful analysis systems, based on non-contact and non-destructive near-infrared imaging spectroscopy.

The cameras convince as spatially resolved real-time measurement systems with powerful data processing and high-precision signal processing for analytical, industrial applications.

EVK HELIOS hyperspectral imaging systems are measuring systems specifically designed for industrial working conditions and has been created in close cooperation with partners from the mechanical and plant engineering industry. Due to the stable optomechanical design for real industrial temperature conditions, machine designs and fields of application, as well as data processing and algorithms specially developed for analytics, EVK HELIOS enables an optimized analysis directly in the process line.

Spatial resolution in real-time:

The workflow in which the system is configured, chemometric models are created and transferred with the help of the software EVK SQALAR, is seamless. The evaluation takes place completely in the EVK HELIOS system, whereby no external evaluation systems are required. However, a connection to already existing evaluation systems is easily possible via GigE Vision/GenICam. EVK HELIOS EQ32 is equipped with 320 pixels spatial resolution, measuring in the wavelength range of 930 – 1700 nm and thereby scans with a frame rate of 446Hz full frame.

Customers are supported by the EVK Professional Services team from application development to the fully integrated EVK HELIOS system on-site. EVK thus enables the integration of state-of-the-art real-time analysis systems in the shortest possible time in order to successfully equip industrial processing lines for the future and thus exploit the full potential of the applications.

Software Tool for chemical material analysis
EVK SQALAR enables for monitoring and measuring, user-defined properties of, individual objects or bulk material streams and helps to increase the quality, consistency and safety of products and at all stages of industrial processing.

Acting as a multifunctional quantitative analysis software tool for multivariate measurements of chemical properties it is a software tool suitable for sorting, inspection and monitoring applications, both in-line and at-line and also in laboratories.

The software in combination with the HELIOS Hyperspectral imaging systems enables a non-invasive, interruption-free, measurement of chemical concentrations of all objects in a product stream.
