Metering connection cabinets and metering distribution cabinets from ELSTA Mosdorfer are used for accurate measurement of electrical energy or gas. The main distribution or sub-distribution takes place in separate cabinets or combined in the metering cabinets.
– Standard metering distributors and metering distributor cabinets with post-meter distribution for direct measurement
– Transformer cabinets for indirect measurement
Metering cabinets for gas and combined power/gas metering distributors
– Cable distribution cabinets, fuse distributor cabinets and installation distributor cabinets for main distribution after metering
– Variants for setup and installation outdoors or indoors
– Design according to specification and design guidelines of distribution network operators
From the public supply network to the interface to the private power grid, our tried and tested distribution systems are an important component when it comes to supply reliability, personal protection and network expansion:
– From the cable distribution cabinet to the grid branches and house connections
– Low-voltage distribution up to the measuring equipment, conforming to standards and safe
– Constructed specifically to the region concerned, in accordance with the specifications and design guidelines of the power grid operators
The type-tested compact transformer stations in different sizes for transformers up to 1250 kVA are space-saving, flexible and durable. Our standard stations are tested for arcing with all the customary commercial gas-insulated, medium-voltage switchgear (Driescher, Schneider, Ormazabal, Siemens). The compact transformer stations are type-tested in accordance with IEC 62271-202 and qualified in accordance with IAC AB 20 kA 1s.
The low-voltage distribution in accordance with IEC 61439-5 for maximum power of 1250 kVA is suitable for installation in compact transformer stations, but can also be mounted as a frame in closed electrical equipment Rooms.
Aluminium Body:
– Station enclosure made of aluminium (AlMg3), station basement painted, upper part powder-coated
– Oil-tight transformer pan in accordance with the DafStb (German Committee for Reinforced Concrete) guidelines for handling water-polluting substances
– Removable roof for installation and replacement of the switchgear or transformer
– Easy handling because of low weight
Concrete Body:
– Monolithic concrete body, manufactured using the bell-founding process
– Oil-tight transformer pan in accordance with the DafStb (German Committee for Reinforced Concrete) guidelines for handling water-polluting substances
– Waterproof cable space beneath the medium-voltage system
– Removable roof for installation and replacement of the switchgear or transformer
The robust and weatherproof polyester distribution cabinets and distributor pillars from ELSTA Mosdorfer are either permanently mounted on bases, or equipped with a mobile underframe for temporary power supply. For the metered design variant (connection end distributor), the grid access and direct/indirect measurement take place directly in the distribution cabinet in accordance with the design guidelines of the grid operators in the specific regions. The unmetered end distributors are a simple and reliable solution for the power supply for centrally metered installations (e.g. trade fair sites).
– Polyester enclosure (hot-pressed, glass fibre reinforced, thermoset)
– Degree of protection IP 44, protection class II, IK classification IK 10
– Configured with/without metering part, with internal CEE and safety power outlets including fuse protection (outside power outlets with optional cover)
– The installation field suitable for use by laypersons with power outlets and the patch panels that are not suitable for use by laypersons can be locked separately
– Freestanding installation on ground-mounted or floor-mounted base in a fairground version, cable outlet through the base
– Mobile variants with base plate including base frame, cable outlet through a door opening
The product range of ELSTA Mosdorfer is as varied as the possible applications. Specially developed for use in energy distribution, the enclosure systems can be used everywhere that robust and innovative cabinet solutions are needed to protect against external influences:
– Freestanding cabinets in standard sizes and in sizes for installation on a ground-mounted base or a base for floor mounting
– Distribution pillars with press-fitted base for installation in the soil
– Wall-mounted enclosures as surface-mount and flush-mount versions (for wall installation)
– Individual empty cabinets and enclosure systems, tailored to your application
We took known and proven product groups and made them more resilient for use in PV systems taking account of the special requirements in the area of photovoltaics, thus ensuring the maximum personal and system safety. The supply infrastructure of large systems is often located outdoors, which is where the polyester cabinets from ELSTA Mosdorfer are most at home. The application entails high currents during maximum sunlight, so the design of PV products has to take special account of the additional power input.
– AC collector cabinets (PV-cable distribution cabinets) with and without islanding protection system for network monitoring
– Metering cabinets for PV surplus feed-in in small private installations
– Transformer cabinets and transformer measuring fields in a special design for connecting the PV system to the public low-voltage power grid (for example, in combination with a collector cabinet and islanding protection system)
– UV-resistant enclosure for freestanding installation on a ground-mounted base or for wall installation outdoors
Special requirements in the area of electro-mobility are posing new challenges to proven products in energy distribution. The E-Spot distribution systems from ELSTA Mosdorfer are developed specifically for this in accordance with the specific regional design guidelines of the network operators, and are well equipped for operation with high continuous currents and simultaneity. This product group is characterised by an optimised thermal design, the selection of suitable equipment, proper protection of the charging points against overcurrent and short-circuit, and scalability.
– Metering distributor cabinets and measuring transformer cabinets for connecting wall boxes and rapid charging stations to the public grid
– Main and sub-distributors for supplying multiple charging points
– Combined solutions with components for protecting, networking and controlling charging infrastructure
– Free-standing distribution systems for outdoor installations exposed to the weather in parking lots, service stations or business premises
SMC is a fibre-reinforced, thermoset plastic that is cured under pressure and temperature in a closed mould. Thermoset means that the shape adopted during curing can no longer be changed by subsequent temperature effects.
– SMC compression moulded parts are used in the electrical industry, in mechanical engineering, the building industry, the transport industry, and in transport engineering and railway application.
– Thermoset GRP components can be produced economically with quantities of 1000 pieces a year or more
– ELSTA Mosdorfer uses 3D CAD software for the planning and design of components and compression moulding tools
– Prototyping takes place by means of additive manufacturing and provides security of investments
