Two innovation regions will increasingly cooperate in the future: the China Solar Valley and the Green Tech Valley want to learn and benefit from one another. This declared Huang Ming, winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize 2011 during his visit of the ECO WORLD STYRIA future workshop in Graz in April.

During the accompanying B2B talks with companies as well as the Styrian Minister of Economy Dr. Christian Buchmann, Huang Ming, excited about the Styrian environmental technologies, accepted the official role as the worldwide ambassador of the Green Tech Valley and also signed a mutual cooperation agreement.

“I want to change the old solar business tradition and bring about re-thinking in the positioning of sustainable products. We must not bind “solar” and renewable energies to subventions and tariffs, since thus the entire technology gets a stale aftertaste. We need state-of-the-art and luxurious design goods, aiming at the lifestyle consumers and addressing the upper class. I see this change as my mission”, says Huang Ming.

A future cooperation. In summer already, an intensification of the business relationship has been planned with a counter-visit of the ECO WORLD STYRIA cluster.
